TransMatics Transmissions

This has to be the most forward and honest mechanic I have ever been to. They don't tell you about what's wrong with their car. They show you what's wrong with your car. When it comes to the price they are not trying to dig in your pocket. They are actually trying to help. I am blessed to have found them and whoever is reading this you will not be disappointed

I highly recommend this shop to anyone new to Tampa or already established. Leon is so knowledgeable and kind to his customers. The prices are reasonable too! Thank you so much Leon for all you do, it doesn’t go unnoticed. 😊

In two hours I was able to drive from St Pete to transmatics in Tampa, have the seal at the output shaft replaced, have a leaking transmission line repaired, have a long standing debate about band adjustments settled, get lunch, and make it back to St Pete. Leon is a transmission god and this is arguably the cleanest transmission shop I've ever been to; and I've been to quite a few because I own a Dodge diesel truck. He will take the time to explain things to you, and show you what your problem is. In my search to have my issues resolved his prices and estimated work time were the best. Everybody else wanted double the money while having my truck for days; for something I know does not take a long time to get done and should not be expensive if someone knows what they're doing.

Leon rebuilt my C5 Corvette Transmission in under a week with no games played. Kept me updated throughout the repair process. Very fast turnaround 100% will go back if any other problems occur!

Leon's a great guy, no pushing for unnecessary services. Great service at affordable cost. This place is a bit tricky to find, just drive to the end of parking lot. He needs to bring the board closer to the road or make it bigger. Its almost almost always a drop off, so drop your vehicle and call them to get the updates.
